Occasionally the old Arabic necklaces were adorned with colored stones as in this case garnet beads and cut ruby glass set in bezels of 3 intricately adorned pendants. Embossing silver and granulation techniques were highly mastered in pre 1947 Arabia. This necklace is a good example of igd that was found in larger cities and its scale is kept demure.
